Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Caisse Manager SARL ("Caisse Manager", "we") collects, uses, and protects the information you send us — whether you're a merchant using our POS software, a visitor to our site, or an end customer of a business equipped with Caisse Manager. By using our site, our POS software, or our mobile app, you accept the practices described here.

1. What information we collect

Depending on your relationship with Caisse Manager, we may collect:

  • Identity information — name, role, company name, email, and phone number when you create an account, request a demo, or apply to our partner program.
  • Transaction data — receipts, amounts, payment methods, and items sold, generated by daily use of the POS software.
  • Loyalty data (optional) — name and contact details of an end customer, only if they provide these voluntarily as part of a loyalty program you enable.
  • Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, connection logs, necessary for platform operation and security.
  • Site navigation data — pages viewed, visit duration, for audience-measurement purposes.

2. What we do with this information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the POS service and associated features (sales reports, inventory, loyalty).
  • Provide technical support and reply to your requests.
  • Process billing for your subscription.
  • Improve our products using aggregated and anonymised usage statistics.
  • Inform you of important software or policy updates.
  • Send you, if you consent, information about our news, offers, or events.

3. Mobile app and mobile POS

The mobile POS and the web ordering app access only the data strictly necessary for checkout: sales, receipts, and the connected device identifier. They never access the contacts, photos, or continuous location of the device they're installed on, and are not used for advertising.

4. Security

We implement reasonable physical, electronic, and organisational measures to protect the information we collect against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Communications between your register and our servers are encrypted. Card payments are processed by our certified banking partner (CMI); Caisse Manager never stores a full card number.

As no system is infallible, we can't guarantee absolute security, but we commit to informing you without undue delay in case of an incident affecting your data.

5. Cookies

Our site uses cookies: small files placed on your device that let us recognise your browser and improve your experience.

  • Necessary cookies — connection to your account, language preferences. The site doesn't function correctly without them.
  • Audience-measurement cookies — used only for statistical purposes to understand which pages are useful, then aggregated.

6. Sharing with third parties and external links

We share information only with providers strictly necessary for the service (payment processing via CMI, hosting, delivery integrations you activate yourself like Glovo, Yassir, or Done). Each of these providers is contractually required to protect the data they process on our behalf.

Our site may contain links to third-party sites. Once you leave our site via one of these links, we no longer have control over that site and can't be held responsible for the protection of information you provide there. We invite you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

7. Retention period

We retain your information for the duration of the contractual relationship, then archive it for the period required by accounting and tax obligations applicable in Morocco, before deletion or anonymisation.

8. Your rights and how to exercise them

In accordance with law 09-08 on the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data, you have rights of access, rectification, deletion, and objection concerning data about you.

  • To request a copy of the information we hold about you, write to us at contact@caissemanager.com.
  • If you believe information we hold is incorrect or incomplete, tell us and we'll correct it promptly.
  • If you no longer want to receive marketing communications, an unsubscribe link appears in every email, or you can write to us directly.
  • If you're the end customer of a business using Caisse Manager and want your loyalty data deleted, first contact that business, which remains responsible for your data; we support them technically in this process.

9. Changes to this policy

We may modify this policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical, or practice changes. The update date at the top of this page is refreshed with each change. We encourage you to review it periodically.
